How to Use
For Outdoor plants: 1 tbsp. per gallon of water; for outdoor trees and shrubs feed every 10-14 days.
For Indoor plants: 1/4 tsp. per gallon of water as a constant liquid feed program
For acidification and green-up: The normal recommended dosage is 1 tbsp. per gallon, equal to about 3 lbs. over 100 gallons. Only a few applications will be needed to effect the needed pH change.
Use of this formula should be limited to temperature ranges that do not fall below 45 F°. Best results, follow the program above in the normal spring, summer and fall growing seasons.
For small volume mixing:
Dissolve the following amounts in 1 gallon of water. Injectors should not be used.
1/2 tsp. = 135 ppm
1 tsp. = 260 ppm
1 tbsp. = 780 ppm
When using a Siphonex or Hoze-on proportioner
1:15 setting E.C.
100 ppm = 1.0 oz. 0.64
200 ppm = 1.9 oz. 1.28
300 ppm = 2.9 oz. 1.92
Limit of Solubility in Hot Water = 4.0 lbs. per gallon
For Best Results
Jack's Fertilizers are made with 100% soluble raw materials that will form a true solution.
For best results, use warm or hot water (180 F°) to dissolve product. Some raw materials are slower to dissolve than others. Most fertilizer compounds dissolve in an endothermic reaction, which means they absorb heat from their surroundings during the process. In strong concentrations or stock solutions (1-3 + lbs. per gallon), using cold water in a cold environment will drastically slow the dissolving process (up to 24 hours to form a true solution). In all conditions, agitation will help speed up the dissolving process by exposing more particle surface area to the water.
