    • Why should I use a Pansy Formula Specialized for the Spring?

       

      Jack's Spring Pansy Feed is a specialty fertilizer designed for optimum nutritrion of iron-inefficient pansy crops grown mainly in spring time conditions ( Late Dec - May).  These plant materials grow best with a lower growing medium pH, approximately 5.2 - 5.8.  They are prone to iron, boron, and other micronutrient deficiencies that is why the Spring Pansy Feed in packed with extra Boron -- double or triple that of most other standard Peat Lite formulas.

       

      The Spring Pansy Feed contains Ca + Mg and is safe in the low light gray days of winter.  It does have the tendancy to raise pH overtime, very similar in effect to the 15-5-15 Ca + Mg.

       

      Plants grown with Spring Pansey Feed will not need extra additions of boric acid or solubor to the fertilizer stock tank.  Plus the Fe Chelate system will give you the extra confidence that if your pH does tend to creep up, your plants will stay green due to the amazing effects of our proprietary chelate blend.
