Our Production Crew is looking for members to join the team in pumping out the finest handcrafted water-soluble fertilizers for big time growers of fruits, veggies, landscape plantings and flowers for home gardeners and now the booming cannabis market! We are seeking individuals that value craftsmanship, and that will aide us in bettering all aspects of our Jacks’ products. We are a company of passionate plant loving people who know that our customers’ success all starts with our kick ass production team. You will be responsible for continuing to fuel our reputation as the industry’s top producer of highest-in-quality fertilizer products.

JRP Blue Crew Operations Coordinator

JR Peters, Inc is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented person to help support our overall mission of producing the Blue Juice plants are craving!  As the Blue Crew Operations Coordinator, you will help coordinate efforts between our Office/Lab Team and the Production Team. This is a new position here at JRP – so it will be up to YOU to help us strengthen the bridge between our teams and continue to turn the more of the world BLUE!  

 

SO – what the heck does Operations Coordinator mean?   

 

Here are a few examples of some of the day-to-day tasks you will be diving into: 

  • Reviewing the production schedule to prepare the packaging or labels required for products that are scheduled to be produced. 

  • Organize the various shipping activities needed throughout the week – such as point of purchase materials, retail orders, trade show and event materials. 

  • Work with the warehouse crew to ensure our inventory in the warehouse is accurate. 

  • Take a trip- get behind the wheel and head out to local vendors to pick up materials. 

  • Coordinate with Production Manager and Shift Leader to ensure the proper training of newly hired production crew is taking place and that production crew advancement is being reviewed. 

  • Assisting with lab samples or processing. 

  • Basically, we are looking for a utility player that understands our operation and can step in and help out when and where needed!

  • We are looking for a go-getter who does not mind wearing multiple hats. 

  • You MUST be well organized, always have your magnifying glass handy to ensure nothing is falling through the cracks and be motivated by the administrative challenges to support our JRP Blue Crew. 

  • Willing to always ask - HOW can I help? And recognizing where help is needed. 

  • Must be able to quickly problem-solve – be the first to see and address issues and help with your related tasks in a fast manner. 

  • Ability to learn how to utilize the electronic systems that our team has in place. 

  • Must be organized and skillfully gather and analyze information given to complete a specific task. 

  • Must be able to prioritize and plan your daily work activities in a timely and efficient manner. 

  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback. 

  • Demonstrate awesome communication skills. 

  • Must show a desire to learn in more detail about manufacturing input/raw material supply market trends.  

  • Needs to show a strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful in many different types of working environments.
