Oh Citrus Tree, Oh Citrus Tree..... ok, so maybe that's not how the song goes, but with more folks getting a better handle on the finer details of gardening, and enjoying the sport/hobby/therapy year round, it's important to know how to take care of Citrus trees and shrubs.
When it comes to citrus and tropical fruiting plants, what should you be feeding them? How often should you feed them? And how should you be applying fertilizer?
Today Kaitlyn and Mason take a look at our Jack's Classic 20-10-20 Citrus FeED and talk about how to actively use it to have greater success year-round with your tropical fruits (and melons as Mason points out).
Thank you, it's very well explained.
I have a 15 year old grapefruit in the ground, in the Dallas Fort Worth tx. I’ve only gotten large edible grapefruits the year I planted it. I just started uses this product. How much do I feed a 20 ft tree when the temp has been over 100 for weeks. Can I feed more than once a week? fruit is on tree. Just small. Bigger then prior years at this time because I have watered more and used other fertilizer. Will this help the fruit on the tree grow bigger?
